4 Reasons to Upgrade from Windfall Classic to Warehouse

What makes technology amazing is that it’s meant to evolve. Thinking about your bottom line, refinements in software can make your team more efficient, help them operate more quickly from any location or device, and align your company (and warehouses) with best practices in the moving and storage industry.

Years ago, we launched Warehouse (formerly known as Windfall NG) to bring operational efficiencies to your business. We listened to our customers and built what was needed for the industry – a next-generation warehouse management tool. We’d like to encourage all of our partners still leverage Windfall Classic to update your software to Warehouse. Here are our top 5 reasons to update your software:

  1. Warehouse is web-based. You can access Warehouse from anywhere at any time. There is no need to get IT involved. Warehouse delivers 99.99% uptime and is the most widely-used cloud-based system on the market.

  2. Say goodbye to bulky scanners. Windfall Classic required the use (and purchase of) scanning devices. Warehouse operates from a native iOS app that you can load onto any Apple device instead of the scanners. With the native app, receiving inventory, scanning barcodes, and real-time inventory updates can be made on phones or iPads you already have.

  3. We upgraded the customer portal. You can manage your own customer portal with ease, giving real-time access to anyone you want at any time. Your customers can view photos of their inventory, submit work orders and pull tickets, and much more.

  4. We’ll waive the conversion and training fees. We do require training before upgrading to Warehouse, but we’re waiving the fees for a limited time during the transition.

We know changing your warehouse management solution may feel overwhelming, but we built Warehouse with your advice, your feature requests, and your needs in mind. We’re here to help you properly plan for the transition.
